Will WindowBlinds 8 bring the transparency back to Win8 ?

Hi,

 

I just read that you are working on WindowBlinds 8. 

I have tried Win8 but went back to Win7. I don't mind the new startscreen, but I am really missing the transparency. I want to have nice looking desktop therefore I used WB for years. You'll understand that I do not like the looks of Win8.

So the big question is, will there be transparency again with WindowBlinds 8  and Win8 ?

I sure as HELL hope so !!! Been using it for a while now & that´s the thing I miss most of all, BUT....

-Even if that´s not the case you can be sure I will produce some Blinds that will make you feel right at home on Windows 8 as soon as Skinstudio & WindowBlinds 8 comes.

Well, I must partially correct myself.  :blush:

 

I have "taskbar" transparency natively in Windows8.

 

It apparently doesn't work for the frames.

 

I simply go to personalize, choose the color changer, advanced settings, turn all 3 sliders to the left.

 

Gives me transparency on the taskbar only.

I've got that to. I don't know why Microsoft left the taskbar with some transparency and then leave it out of the rest. of course I've never understood why MS does anything they do. The only thing I can think of is they love shooting them selves in the foot. :rolleyes:

Thanks for the link, think I'll wait for Windowblinds 8 though, that sounds scary like Jafo said.

4 days left in 1st quarter, I guess Windows Blinds 8 for Windows 8 just isen't going to happen and it would seem definitely not by the 1st quarter as previously promised!
