Mouse Cursor Getting Stuck With Dual Monitors

Hi there,

Let me just say that Start8 is awesome and worth it compared to the other alternatives out there. This program is very good. However, I ran into a minor issue with dual monitors. It seems that my cursor cannot transition/move from one screen to the next at the top of the screen.

If I move my mouse to the absolute most upper right of the first screen it will not move to the other screen. Only if I move the mouse down a bit will it transition. The same goes from moving back. If I try to go from the top left to the top right of the other screen the mouse cursor wont move there until I move the mouse down a bit.

To clarify this issue only occurs at the absolute top of the screen. I have no problems getting my cursor back and forth elsewhere. Here is a picture to illustrate what I am talking about:

Thanks Neil, this was very annoying and your tip really helped me out.

To be more accurate, this should be the only entry that is required to be changed:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop\

MouseCornerClipLength

Set the value to 0 (from 6). Reboot.

There are other entries, but editing them should not be required.

Thanks,

We have actually added a setting to disable this in the next Start8 update.
