Lets compile a list of dishonest players that do not play by the rules.

This is a terrible idea. You need to give players a chance, rather than just exclude them from games because they broke a rule.

These are not unwritten rules he is talking about. Sometimes the host will let players choose banned races as long as they promise not to use certain abilities. If these were mentioned in the chat and they ignored it, then they deserve to be black listed.

It's a hard line to follow...I was interested in "temporary blacklisting" for trolls like kbroke, and those people seemed to get better....but trying to ban someone like Efe is entirely different....I hate to "play favorites" but the truth is the less popular a player is the easier it is to ban them (or do anything for that matter)...

Quite frankly, the best way to handle this is publicity....assuming this is true, let it be known that if you let Efe play VR or AR, don't expect him to play by any "rules" such as no wail or no jumping Orkies...hosts will learn to simply not let him play those factions, problem solved, it goes away...no need to "ban" anyone....

So which races/factions are usually banned or restricted? VR - jumping orkys and AR - wail, right? Anything else?


This information should really be written down and sticked in the forum. As a new player (like me) you will probably want to concentrate on one faction first. It would be frustrating for new player if the faction he learned to play best in SP is banned in MP. For me this is a dealbreaker for that faction, so i would like to know EXACTLY what factions/abilities are "banned" in MP, so i can choose another one.

That's basically it. Problem is these are unofficial rules, different hosts may do different things, and sadly we do not have player forum moderators that have the time to keep a thread like that updated. Also these might change if a future patch deals with the balance issues.

From the games i've played with kbroke, he is always either afking alot or just messing around. Yes, I would avoid playing with him as well to be frank, be it in my team or opponent as it will unbalance the game.
