Hey....???

I'm still trying to find out what is going on with Desktop X. I emailed stardock but I got no responce yet. I starting to wonder if I just installed it wrong but I can't image installing it an not showing these functions. I am seeing that in the alpha blending area for an image, there no longer is a subtractive, additive, and other options. Is it possible to put them back in?? This is the reason why I got some responses that in the WinStyle Groovy Theme, ANGELDX did not have a subtractive transparency anymore. I am sure allot of Desktop X's will have problems. I personally see a use for it and had plans for it to work allong side magic pink with effects.

While I somewhat understand why it was taken out (you can use magic pink or something else to get the transparency) allot of Desktop X designs have this on in their design.

And also, if possible, for the animations, can there be scripting for it like in CursorXP? So that you can stop it on a frame or make it do something else instead of run one way or another?

Can't help you, don't use DesktopX. I've seen this question before(by You). Guess no one knows. Where in Brooklyn are you?

It was taken out for some reason. Not exactly sure of the reasons. Personally I think it was useful and could produce some cool effects.

Joe, where did you email? I searched for you in support@stardock.com and couldn't find anything from you.

I will have to pass this on to the development team as it is past my knowledge.
