SoaSE Steam Workshop for Mods and Maps

Wow, I haven't been on the forum for a while. I really need to stop playing Portal 2 for a while. :|

Well, I was wondering if it would be possible to make a Steam workshop for SoaSER, so you could easily download maps and mods. It would be a lot easier than downloading the map from Wincust. or Mediafire, and the maps would be seen a lot more in general because it would be on Steam. I don't know if this would be a really big task to program or not, but I think it'd work, after seeing Portal 2's workshop. (I actually made a map in the (advanced) editor for Portal 2, and got about 150-300 plays)

What do you think?

I think Stardock looked into it earlier. I think it would be great for maps, but SD doesn't like that mod makers can force users to update the mod without asking them, potentially screwing up a save for example. Besides, as a modder I'm not sure if I'd put my stuff up on steam anyways, if I understand the EULA right they could use our stuff without permission.

Really? That's sort of sneaky.

Well, I don't know if it'll be brought up again.
