Restricted building, what happens when conquered?

Hi all,

Could probably test this one, but hoping someone can just answer and save me the trouble because it will take a bit to simulate ;-)

OK so if I have an improvement that provides a faction bonus (say extra production or guilder, anything really)... and the improvement is restricted to say a particular faction trait.... what happens if I create this improvement in a city... then another faction (which doesn't have the prerequisite trait) conquers the city....

What happens to the improvement in this situation?  Is it destroyed? Does it stay but the conquering faction doesn't get the benefit because they don't have the prerequisite faction trait?  Or do they get the benefit of the improvement, because the prereq only restricts the construction of the improvement not who can receive the benefit once it exists?

Thanks.

They get instantly razed from what I understand.

Scrying pools get instantly razed the moment a city is conquered by a faction that does not have them.  It gets annoying to have to keep rebuilding them, when playing Pariden, and there's a bug where the display of a city temporarily shows that it has an essence which it does not have when you are playing a faction without scrying pools and you take a pariden city.

So... yes, Heavenfall is right.
