Restoring Start Screen After Trial

I have found myself completely unable to restore the background of my start screen after the trial period for Decor8 expired. I can change the colors just fine but I can't change the background at all. Is there a fix for this?

Reboot.

Your background will be back to the stock Windows one that you last used

My computer has rebooted several times since the trial ended and I uninstalled the software.

If you have uninstalled then Decor8 is not altering the start menu at all.  Likewise if the trial expired.

Perhaps you could post a screenshot of what you see on your start menu as it sounds like you are simply using one of the stock images which can be controlled in Windows 8 by default from the same place you change the colour scheme.
