Patching GCII the first time.

Impulse issues.

I am unable to log into Impulse's patcher with the username and password or the e-mail and password which works to log into these forums, and the support web pages.

 

Basically the issues that I can not patch my game.

See here.  Gamestop are/were upgrading during October.  That might be the problem.  I had to close down the app and start it up again to do its update thingy and verification (yes, Big Brother is now watching :P ) and then it was good.  Even though I never use it.

You would need to pursue any Impulse login issues with gamestop support. If they are unable to help though, shoot a mail to support@stardock.com and they should be able to provide some alternative to get you updated.

I appreciate the suggestion to contact game-stop. We'll see how that goes. Is game-stop now necessary to update any of the later Stardock products? I was a victim of false marketing for the month it took to convince them to take my return of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 and I now go out of my way to avoid supporting their business.

We have direct downloads from the store website and via SDC for the most recent editions of most products, but any older editions that aren't available there and were bought prior to the sale of Impulse to GameStop early last year need to go through them, or through support for the time being.

Direct downloads from the webpage send me to go download Stardock Central.

Stardock Central doesn't recognize my game.

Impulse ignores my user-name and my e-mail address.

In the "My Account" options provided through these webpages I can not update my e-mail or "validate" my e-mail.

Game-Stop has replied to my inquires. They have no record of my serial number, nor any information of an account held be anyone with my name which was connected to any Stardock products. One is concerned for your past-customers beyond one's self. And very unimpressed with either company.

As above, if GameStop can't be of any assistance, please contact support@stardock.com and they should be able to do something for you.

Thanks for your time. Game-stop has actually asked if I want to have the serial # added to their records. I guess I'll try it and see. Sorry for all the support tickets. I wish I could log into the support forums and close them.
