Encryption Issue

I have MP 2.0 installed on three machines...on my desktop, laptop, and netbook.  All of them are now running Win8.  Between the netbook and laptop, everything is fine but my desktop cannot control nor be controlled from either.  I get an encryption error reading that the encryption key is incorrect.  I have tried several different ones, and they are definitely the same on all computers.  I even set it back to default CHANGEME with no luck.  I have disabled every bit of security during the process but it won't pass the key properly.

I should mention that it does "see" the other machines locally.  The only difference is that they are wireless and the desktop is wired but I can't imagine how that would play a role.  Everyone is talking to the same physical router.  I can connect to these other machines for file shares and they ping without issue.

Anyone got any ideas here?

Haven't heard back from support in several days so I'd appreciate any assistance.

Thanks!

Update: So now it will work in reverse.  I can connect and control the desktop from the laptop but I still get the encryption issue when  using the desktop to control the laptop.  Weird...

Thank you!

As a follow up, I have reinstalled, first removing every registry entry and program file, and disabled security on both sides.  I have added additional outgoing firewall rules for Multiplicity and reviewed the firewall log to see if any dropped packets may have been the culprit.  No Event Logs have been generated regarding this issue either.
