The Cartographers Table itsn't working properly

Okay I've been trying to make my map for some time now, and it's finally finished even though I had major problems laying down the rivers which seem to glich up, and won't delete, like many other things that will not delete once you've placed it on the map, one of my other problems I'm having. Many of the object cannot be placed on the map including starting points, minor races, quest, and NPC's. That is why I loved the first game.  Can you guys please fix this soon, or is there already an update that I just haven't recieved yet.

Thank You

Place river tiles from the headwaters to the estuary linearly; it's the only way to get them to lay out correctly. As far as things that can't be deleted, it happens; you can save the map, restart FE, and reload it and things should be OK for awhile. You can also delete and place things like starting locations from the mapname.xml file if you can't get it to work through the app.

Yes it is buggy as hell but you can make the maps you want with a little ingenuity, at least until, if ever, it is fixed (It was exactly the same in WOM so don't expect a fix soon.

I can place starting points, quests and npc's on a map (with a rightclick). However, more often than not they do not show immediately, i have to zoom out to max and then in again to make them appear.

Ok what is the mapname.xml file? A yes the editor is boggy as hell, and the mixture of creatures and quest leveled to your in game avatars are very disproportioned.

Nothing happens when I click the right side of my mouse...

I have been trying to build an FE map as well. I was able to change starting locations the same as WOM, however they all disappeared along with all my quests! Even after restarting the game and reloading the map, still gone! Then a week later i decided to try again, loaded that same map and to my surprise, all the quests and starting locations were back!!.... figured they must just have been on holiday or something???

normally restarting the computer & running disk clean-up allows me to make one run at the map makin, but any attempt to save & come back to it results in crash.... now any attempt at playing at all results in crash
