Hopefully they should add this feature to really appreciate my modern ui backgrounds.
Yes, its the tiles that need attention. Options for Shape of tiles (Rounded Aero/glass-like be nice) and level of transparency are the top of my windows 8 wish list. Be nice to be able to see my background afterall ![]()
Installed it and love it too.
Thanks Stardock, it doesn`t make me feel missing Deskscapes that much!
I understand that dsbig123 wants transparent tiles with just the app showing.
Could there be transparent spaces/empty transparent tiles, I mean so that you can organize the tiles in a way the background "asks for"?
Now the tiles automatically hook up to the previous and open spaces are not possible.
And, maybe, more possibillities to size the tiles, besides different shapes?
However, awsome work guys!!!
Hello,
I agree with everything above as new features to implement asap. Would like to hear from Stardock if this is possible!
Let use know please,
Thanks!!
Any luck with the idea about transparent tiles? I'm wondering if it's even possible. I made a transparent png in gimp, but a background tile color is applied on the tile. It would be nice as said above to have a transparent dummy tile so you can use them to lay out actual tiles better on start screen.
Being able to change the number of tiles per column and the ordering of tiles would be great.
I'd prefer to read across alphabetically within a grouping to find the tile I want, rather than reading two across, then down, then up to the next column, then two across, then down, etc.
1. Agree transparent tile option, plus remove that pesky tile boarder as well
2. solid colour option would be nice as well, the windows tile gradient is bad
3. option to hide text on tiles
