Upgrading to OD after purchasing Fences

Hello! I just bought Fences, thinking that later I'll just upgrade to Object Desktop if I really want to... Well, apparently 30 minutes later was long enough, and I decided to make the upgrade. However, when I press the upgrade button on this page and type in the same name and email that I bought it with, it says "We're Sorry, But We Could Not Locate Your Registration In Our Customer Database." After I tried that a few times, I went to the Lookup Registrations page, and the email I received didn't list Fences.

Am I only having trouble because the site hasn't fully processed my purchase (even though I've already activated Fences), or does Fences no longer count toward the upgrade? I'd really like to buy OD, but I'm definitely not going to pay the $49.95 PLUS the 9.99 I just spent. 8C

Contact support@stardock ASAP. They'll fix this for you as soon as they get a look at it. =)
May just be a simple mix up.

PS.: You made the correct decision when getting the ODNT subcription. You won't regret it! :thumbsup:

Thanks for replying! I just sent an email, so hopefully it'll all get sorted out.

I tried out Fences a few years ago, and haven't been able to use my computer without it since, and Fences 2 convinced (forced) me to finally make the purchase. In the last month or so, I've been trying out all the demos for the other products, and now realize I've become hooked to those too.  :grin:

Fences 2 is not part of the Object Desktop upgrade path at the moment (because of it's much lower price than the other applications in the upgrade path (WindowBlinds, Fences Pro, DesktopX, DeskScapes, IconDeveloper, SkinStudio or WindowFX).

Perhaps support or sales will have a solution.

Funny, that's exactly how the reply I got started.  o_O  Anyway, support gave me an $8 coupon so I just bought OD. :D I didn't realize that the terms "Fences Pro" and "Fences 2" were used differently, so I hope this thread helps somebody realize that in the future. Thanks everyone!  |-)
