Stuck on the quest Gates of Redstone

Gates of Redstone - Unable to complete

Hi everyone. My first post and its a panicky one. Love this game a lot, exactly the type of game I've been looking for. I'm messing around in the Scenario and I've gotten to the quest "Gates of Redstone". It tells me that Warlord Verga's army has occupied  three of Redstones nearby granaries and that I need to go kill em all. I did so (and thouroughly enjoyed it fyi) but when I go back to complete it I get "You have not yet defeated all of Verga's soldiers". I've been scouring the entire landscape everywhere and there is in fact nothing else for me to kill. I've got four armies looking and i've been moving them around for more than 100 seasons now looking. Naturally spending this much time looking about has pretty much saved over all of my autosaves so I can't load back to before I killed the troops.

As far as killing the troops, this went quite smoothly. I killed all of them with my heroes and I've turned off auto end turn so I don't know what can have gone wrong. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

 

Edit: Oh, I should also add that the keep is burning so it's seems to have trigger, but looks to have bugged somewhere along the way.

That is strange. I had no trouble with the quest. Did you kill all the soldiers with your hero-stack? Did you move the heroes onto the tiles with the granaries after killing the soldiers? Maybe you should upload the savegame, too, so the devs can have a look at it. Beyond that, I'm not sure what else you could do.

Now that I think about it, I may have killed one of the stacks with an army units only stack =/

At the end of each battle you are supposed to get a Trog Officer Ring. Killing one of the armies with only regular troops should have send the ring to Relias. If that is not the case, then it is a bug.

Thanks for the help. I will just restart the Scenario. Got a new computer to play this game on now.
