Multiplicity 2 not starting anymore after upgrade, even on roll back!!!!

I was running Multiplicity2_beta just fine. Suddenly, got TODAY a "November 1st beta expired" message. Went to Stardock, and downloaded the Stardock Central. It popped up once installed an upgrade called Multiplicity 2 2.00.exe, which I've proceeded to install. Once finished, Multiplicity did not start. Rebooted the box, uninstalled Multiplicity 2, and installed it again through the Central with no avail. Uninstalled it.

Went back to Stardock's portal, downloaded the other file offered there (Multiplicity200_setup.exe) and installed it. Same results.

Tried to roll back to the beta. Same results. Won't start at all.

Uninstalled. Deleted registry entries named Multiplicity (and its main "Multiplicity" folder). Rebooted. Reinstalled manually (means no Central) Multiplicity 2 2.00.exe. It simply won't start.

This is a MAJOR problem for me, due I control 2 different servers with it that are on PRODUCTION. I need a solution asap to this problem, can't make it work on any way!!!!!

Service start attempt throws error 1067.

It was working just fine minutes ago prior this upgrade!!!!!! PLEASE! I need to have this fixed now!

Some installation logs after several attempts:

I'm a full customer, which also has other Stardock products purchased.

Thanks.

Same here. It's just stopped working. Stardock, no changes to my system since this was working last night at 11pm last night. It's no good now. What's going on?

Cannot manually start service - Error 1067.

Can't find the email, but do I remember something about the beta expiring 1/11 ?

I upgraded from Pro to version 2 and never ran the Beta.  Mine stopped working today as well.  Most likely the coding in the beta to have it cut off 11/1/2012 was not removed from the release version.

Stardock, please patch ASAP.

Thank you.

As a workaround, I changed date back to yesterday 31/10/2012 to start the service. Then worked fine rest of the day, even after I fixed the date.

I think they forgot to take the end of Oct kill date out of the service.>_>

We now have an updated installer, you can download it from the website, or from your store downloads, or via SDC.

Worked for me as well.

Did not really consider expiration as the issue as I had uninstalled the beta and installed the full client when it became available.

Good catch thinking of that!

20 spankings for Stardock dropping the ball but we forgive you with the  quick recovery.

It still won't load for me.  SDC says I have the latest 2.00.29 but it will not run on any of my computers.  Wrote to tech support yesterday but have not received a reply yet.

You should have a response from support now . .

Yes, A response was waiting for me this morning.  Maybe both computers need to be rebooted, but after booting this morning, when I ran M2 it gave me an error message that said it looks like the program was not fully installed and did I want to install.  I clicked yes but it did nothing, so I went to the downloaded installer and reinstalled and everything works fin now.  Thank you for your assistance.
