Searching for Programs not possible

Hello,

I have a problem with Start8. When I'll search for Programs which are in my Startmenü the Searchfunction don't find the Programs.

I still checked that the Startmenü is indexed by the Windows Service and when I open the Windows Modern UI it is finding any Application I'll search.

The only result from the search I'll get, are Program from the Windows Control Panel...?

To be sure the Problem is not on my PC I installed Win8 in a Virtual Box and test it again, their I have the same issue so I'm very confused about this situation can somebody help?

Are you using a non english version of Windows 8?

If so the 1.01 update will be needed for Start8 which allows those OSes to search for programs too.

There is a prerelease of this in this forum and the final 1.01 update should come later this week.
