VERY basic mod question.

Did some poking around but couldn't find the answer easily. Rather new to Modding, anyways question:

When I include files in a mod folder do I need to include the entire file or just the new/changed parts?

I just ask because I copied 'Coreabilities' to my mod folder but now all the leaders have their 'blood' ability twice.

Abilitybonus and abilitybonusoption work like improvementtypes in that topic.
