Thanks for the free game

Hey Stardock, thanks for giving me this game because I bought Elemental long ago.  I must admit Elemental was a disappointment, but sadly that isn't uncommon in the PC gaming world these days.  I shrugged and figured oh well another bad game and never expected to think about it again.  Then I got the email saying have a free game on us.  I never expected that!  I'm messing around with this new game and it looks quite fun.

Thanks again.  I sure can't remember EA or any of the giants in the games industry giving me a free game to make up for their clunkers.  Viva la Stardock.

I just noticed xmas had come early in my mailbox also. Never seen this happen in 25 years. With all the corporate hype and money sucking these days it sure feels good to get something back. Although I never really felt that Stardock owed me anything. This is very appreciated. I was just looking at Elemental Fallen Enchantress the other day on Steam and pondering. Stardock has always been very grounded and good with their customers. This is a very classy thing to do. Especially in world where DLC is included on the Disc you already pay for with some games.

Again thank you Brad and thank you everyone at Stardock.

Sincerely, Kurt Meyer

I agree!

This is the classiest thing I have ever seen a game company (or a company of any kind) do.  Thanks so much guys, and cudos especially to Brad for his honesty, and for giving the email the personal touch.

Cheers

I had pre-ordered War of Magic, on basis of the vision and passion Stardock has for the game.

On this day and age, pretty much like one would back Kickstarter game projects.

I had tried several of the Beta versions and was surprised with the release. It didn't feel like a completed game, more like another of the Beta's.

There was no regret on the initial purchase however. Supporting this genre and the spirit of Stardock was more important.

Fallen Enchantress is exactly the reason why I never felt buyers remorse. Stardock is a company who cares, and I'll be a happy supporter as long they keep the passion and kindness alive.

Now off to try FE :)
