Bumped up the redraw rate?
you probably have some technical term for this, but I'm not that technical ![]()
Waybackmachine: remember when one of the WB versions loaded really slow and when that was corrected, occasionally, WB would not repaint all of the windows elements and a redraw, repaint, reapply is necessary. happens to me about 33% of the time but when I'm building a blind I "apply changes" a lot.
this has been mentioned on many occasions.
I noticed it too and for some time now I thought there was a problem with WB. Even get a message saying that there's a problem and how to correct it. Trouble is it takes me to some website I never heard of to download the newest version of Windowblinds which I already have. Go figure.
To be honest, I haven't seen that since around WB 6.1-6.3. Vista 32 and 64 bit would do that, or need a second apply to get transparency working. I don't recall ever seeing it on Win7 or even on my XP rig, but that machine isn't used much.
just a thought. When a skin is completed, if there is an abundance of leftover unused images in the blind file, this could be a bit confusing to wb during loading?I am guilty of leaving xtras in my files, and have had these issues with loading periodically.
under the "tools" tab, click on the "clean skin". this will remove all the unwanted files into another file folder that can be deleted and will not become part of the finalized WBA package.
when I mouseover IE, in the taskbar, instead of page veiws, i just get text box, on occasion. Not just one skin either, so just reapply. No biggie!

Yeah I have transparency set up within WB, sometimes it doesnt seems to be a problem now all I had to do was just reapply but I did it only once when I made this post after that I have no more problem whatsoever, hopefullyy tho this get fix
Happens to me all the time Wiz, upon booting up in Windows 7 64-bit I have to reapply the WB to get transparency working. People keep saying it's a DWM issue, but I don't think so. I am using the latest WB7:

Also, a lot of times when working in SKS I will get certain elements, like the taskbar, or part of the start panel, etc. that do not apply correctly and I have to reload the WB, sometimes 2-3 times, to fix it.
