Windows 8 start button

Ok so if I install the software that adds a start button to my windows 8 desktop, can I no longer access the full screen metro interface by clicking the bottom left hand corner?

That is an option you can enable or disable. I use the right Windows key to call that screen if I need it (which I have not).
