Will v2.0 install over 1.01.143 and retain old fences?

Indeed it will!

(More precisely you will be prompted to uninstall v1 and be prompted again to keep your settings.)

I just purchased and went through the install process.

It did not retain the previous configuration!!! Now I have 204 icons on my Desktop without fences and it seems like I will have to manually re-configure my Fences to look like it was previously.

If you still think I can reconstruct it automatically, can you give me the steps???

ADDED LATER: I found the way to select a previously saved Fence configuration, but it was an old one. It would have been nice if you had mentioned that I needed to Save the current configuration when it said I will have to delete the old version. That would really have helped!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just had the same problem with the Pro 2 version.  Clicking the prompt to keep the old layout and then the old settings/configuration doesn't do it.  Had to do a system restore and redownload 2.0.  Please provide detailed instructions on how to install while keeping everything successfully.  Thanks.  Win 7x64

I expect it's uncommon that the fences configuration is lost, as that certainly has not been my experience. [although I was also never prompted to uninstall anything]...;)

While I'm not sure what the point of your post is, given that you didn't see the prompts, or passed by them without noticing, but my expectation is that the unfenced icons will be piled on top of each other in the corner.  That's the way this program seems to work.

Ok so the version listed above says 1.01.143 and the person wants to upgrade to V2. Here is my question. I'm using the Pro version which is 1.01.143. So fo rthe download of V2 it doesn't list it as the Pro version. Pleas tell me which is supposed to be the latest version when I thought the Pro version was the berst one to use?
