Bug: Disabling hot corners and the Show Desktop button/Peek at Desktop feature

Some curious behavior regarding the disabling/enabling of hot corners and the show desktop button:

- When all hot corners are enabled and the charms bar is enabled, the Show Desktop button and Peek at Desktop feature (fade out windows and see desktop after mouse-over for a few seconds) work normally.

- When all hot corners are enabled but the charms bar is disabled, the Show Desktop button works normally but Peek no longer works.

- When all hot corners are disabled but the greyed out disable charms is checked, the Show desktop button works normally and Peek no longer works.

- When all hot corners are disabled but the greyed out disable charms is unchecked, neither the Show desktop button nor Peek work.

Here's a table to better illustrate the above. Can you guys reproduce this?

Thanks very much!

Another related bug occurs when all Windows 8 hot corners are disabled. When clicking the network notification icon in the taskbar, I can't close it by clicking anywhere else like I normally can. Whether or not the other options are disabled does not affect this; only checking 'Disable all Windows 8 hot corners' results in this bug.

Edit: Found one more bug. If charms are disabled, the user can no longer close windows at the very top-right of the screen. There seems to be a column of a few pixels where the click won't register on the X button.

I just updated to 1.0 and most of these bugs are fixed. Thanks for the hard work! Certainly $5 well spent.

However, it seems the close button is still being blocked by disabled charms. I have two monitors, and the bug has been fixed for the secondary monitor, but my primary monitor still has the problem.

We still need to investigate the close button one, your bug report came in too late for 1.0.
