[0983 Bug] Monsters are razing cities again, Edit: Poineers still cannot build roads as intended

As of 0.983, I had monsters raze my cities again with no possibility of rebuilding. There remains a tile named "city", but with no grain yield...

I thought this was supposed to stop some versions ago.

Also, road building for Pioneers ist still not avaible sometimes.

Edit: well, you never stop learing, road buidling works as intended.

Road building is only available for Mancer Pioneers. Mancer is the race of the Capitar faction.

no thats incorrect. Road building is also available to path of the governor heroes who get the ability.

Not exactly. There are two possible ways of getting the Road building ability. A rare Path of the Governor trait and the Pioneers of the Mancer race. The OP asked specifically about the ability for Pioneers.

This is what I said:

Where I say "Also available" That means that this is the second way, the mancer pioneers being the first way.

 

I then said "path of the governor heroes who get the ability" This means that heroes who take the path of the governor path can get the ability to build roads if they choose it. So where was I wrong>

That said I don't mind mancer pioneers having the ability to build new roads, I just think they should be able to remove old ones too, and I don't think the road building for path of the governor should be a trait in itself, Path of the Governor is already terrible and bordering useless >_<

I just got the Roads trait in a Governor heroe, for testing purpose. It is so cool to have now the skill of making my wished roads...

 

but why only a Hero, governor, and with the road trait? Isn't it weird? I'm having a hero just for building roads...Roads should be considered for all pioners, and not only for mancers...

About that, they should build the outpost (1-3 turns) instead of consuming in the process... so many pioneers are needed...

 

By the way, now that seems that roads are going to be introduced, think in taking more time depending on terrain...my horsed hero made 4 roads per turn...so I will make a highway to connect the map from one side to the other in little time
