weird OS issue

i have an issue with the display properties and (possibly) drivers you know how every windows seven task bar has the "show desktop" button. well mine is elongated.

with windows blinds

with aero

a closeup

what it looks like on my laptop (what it is supposed to look like)

a close up

(Did not intend that close up to come out like that)

and as seen this creates graphics issues

please help me figure out how to patch this.

750w PSU

sapphire ref. radeon 5770

mobo ASUS ROG crosshair V formula

This happens when you have a touchscreen / some form of multitouch input.

That skin has set the image to tile assuming it would always be a fixed size.

I knew about that, Greg... I just never thought of it as a "button", as it never needs "pushing"... a semantic thing which I didn't understand. No biggy. ;)

going over it will show the desktop, when you move away it changes back. by clicking on it you can move the mouse pointer away and just the desktop remains.
