Please, german language support!

Ridiculous, that I've to pay for something, that should be part of Windows8 by default

I like it, but please support also german language! I think there is not to much text for translation.

Is it possible that you create variations of language files in different languages? I really would prefer Start8 in my native language.

The menu itself should be translated, but the config UI is not currently.  The UI does have some translation in the next update for the shutdown options and the right hand list items.

Going forward we plan to allow translation support of the config UI too, but we need to be sure the UI is finished as there is nothing worse than adding new controls and they appear untranslated.

Not in my case, some parts of the menu are translated and some aren't:

1.02 but it seems that all I needed was a re-start although the installer didn't prompt me for that  :|  It's working fine now.

 

I installed 1.02 on top of 1.01 (not uninstall > install), don't know if that's what caused it.

Thats because it is simulated.  We have no knowledge of the order of the languages so rather than leave it as "Configure Start8", we opted to take "Configure" in the native language and append "Start8..."

Hello from germany.

Yesterday i found Start8 in the www and installed it on my pc. It seems to be a nice program.  ^_^  So i made a german translation for Start8 v 1.1 beta 2. Made with a trial version.

You can find my file here . I am using this space so i can easily update/upload changes.

It would be nice to see this translation as a part of Start8. 

By the way:

  • Right click on Start button shows a menu. In this menu there is an entry with "Konfigurieren Start8...". This is not perfect. It should be "Start8 konfigurieren..."
