[0.980][Bug]Quest item counts only for leader

Well, I got famous rat kill quest. And killed all this rats! On my way back I combined my champion with sovereign, and arrived at tavern... only to look on "you haven't quest item" message. What?!
Oh, wait. I have it on champion. So I need to "trade" rat to my sovereign, move out of tavern, return - and only after that I got my reward.
Looks like broken mechanics for me.
