Bugs I've found while playing the beta (.95)

Apologies if this post is in the wrong area, this is the first time I am posting.
I've found a few things in the latest version:
1. If you increase the tax rate to high, it speeds up research, which I think its supposed to do the opposite
2. There is no way for armies to automatically upgrade to better equipment, even if you select that option in the build / design mode.
