[feature request] extend the protection of free city defenders of a fortress to its outposts

from Elemental Forums

I would love to see the following city improvement, unique to fortress settlements:

Guardpost: This city's garrison comes to the aid of any attached outpost in case of an attack.

Alternatively this could be an upgrade separately build on each outpost.

I wouldnt mind this is the monsters were far more aggressive than today. The world is getting too tame already  :troll:

I would consider there to be merit to this idea. Perhaps fewer units than a city would receive. Just enough to fend off the really small nussances, yet still unable to defend larger threats that you SHOULD be mobilizing troops and/or heroes for.
