[0.95] Obsidian Golem Quest Soverign must equip Midnight stone to complete

I killed the Golem got the midnight stone and then made way over to the forge. But nothing happened.
After the battle I did not need the midnight stone so I traded it to one of my other heroes in the stack. I had to trade the item back to my sovereign and equip it before the game recognized that I had completed the quest.
Not really a bug but kind of annoying.
