I'm givin' the bride away.

Talk about speechless

About a year ago I met this young couple. They're in the same boat I was in seven months ago. They're struggling to keep it together, both have decent jobs and just last Friday the lady told me hey were getting hitched. I asked, jokingly, who was giving the bride away and she said to me "I was going to ask you". So yeah I'm giving the bride away and don't you think I feel like I'm on top of the world. Never in my wildest dreams. :w00t: < Me!

I'll get to it. Just have to convince somebody to let me borrow their camera phone and take the pix from there and put them onto my lappy and then......

Well......you get the idea. Patience please. Its not as easy as all that.

There doesn't exist such a thing as a 'camera phone'.
There are mobil phones with image capturing capabilty, and then there are cameras.

The mobil phone "camera" is only good for taking quick snapshots - mostly of yourself, in a mirror, at an strange angle, to share with everyone who already know what you look like.
Proper cameras are for taking photos that you actually wanna keep, like in this case wedding photos.

If you hire a professional photographer you don't expect him/her to show up with only a mobilphone....

It isn't a traditional wedding. More like a...quote...'redneck' wedding...unquote. The couple cannot afford a real one, she'd rather not go the expense, and it will be done by a Justice of the Peace in Maryland, hence my mentioning that type of camera.

Aaah, that looks really nice Uvah.  You must be a very nice man for her to ask you to be her dad. :inlove:

And we finally get to see what you look like.    Have a great long weekend.

it's not the size of the room... it's the amount of love in the room that counts.... you did good... must have been a thrill to be thought of so much....

nice going Uvah...   :)

I agree. My first, and now third wife were married in my parents house the first time with only our parents and my sister and brother-in-law attending. That was in 1974. It didn't last 2 years. The size of the room had no bearing on me being a young idiot.

In 2000 we got back together (it took me a while to grow up) and were married outdoors at a campground with everyone invited. Our love is as big as the great outdoors, so it was a fitting location.

Congrats again on being selected for the honor bestowed upon you, Ross.
