Beta 4 - Program Lock Up

I started FE, and clicked on New Game.  I was trying to decide which faction to play, when I got called away from my PC for a while.  I was gone long enough for my screen saver to kick on.  I came back, entered in my password, and was presented with the faction selection screen again.  It was totally locked up.  The mouse moved, but I could not click on anything.  I pressed Esc, to no avail.  I pressed the Windows key, and then clicked on the application icon in the taskbar, to see if maybe that would free it up.  Unfortunately, that didn't work either.  I finally had to kill the application.
