In addition to the Small, Tall, Wide, and Large option for Start8, it would be nice to have a "Docked" option that displays the Start Menu on the left side of the screen for the full height of the screen allowing one wide column of large Start Menu tiles to be seen.

I like using the 7 Sidebar gadget in Windows 7 to display time, weather, photo's, etc. on the desktop and I would like it if the Start8 menu could somehow replicate the 7 Sidebar gadget functionality to allow me to see the Live Tile data on Metro apps while working in the desktop.

And then if Microsoft would fix the stupid Live Tiles to allow you to click on one and have it link directly to currently displayed information on the Live Tile, I think I could live with Windows 8.
