TEC Society

Which best describes TEC/Trader society, in your opinion, an industrial society or a post-industrial society? Why?

Personally, I think it would be a post-industrial society as manufactoring would be mostly, if not entirely, automated, with the bulk of the population providing services.

A corprotocracy which has temporarily restored greater power to a central government due to the alien menaces.

I think a lot of heavy industry would be automated but a lot of assembly work--especially nano assembly and fine electronics would require a lot of human workers.  It's more economical and especially with the high demand from the war/rebellion...and since it's a consumer driven economy, people have to be employed to spend and grow it.

I imagine the wartime draft is extremely high.  So a lot of middle age and older working in assembly factories and specialty areas and most youth off to the military as soon as they are of age.
