Mobile Unity

So I was wondering, according to the lore when the Advent realized that the tools that they had come to rely upon to further their technology, and their way of life (it seems it has to do with large amounts of crystal being as how even their frigate factories are constructed with such) was coming to and end, the highest coalescence summoned the will of the unity and they decided it was time to fulfill their prophecy of destroying the TEC. However my question is this, being that their resources were depleted I am assuming, did they completely abandon the planet they were exiled to by the TEC and become a mobile armada? In the trailer it shows a large force arriving in trader space, spear headed by a vast amount capital ships, it seems to me that they had formed a large mobile armada leaving everything behind. This is very interesting, as it seems we may not understand the true power of the Advent

The Advent were "expelled into the depths of space," not to a particular sector or planet.  The Advent are a vengeful race though we don't know what exactly triggered the act of vengeance nor what their planets they left behind are actually like.

I don't think they totally left them. They can't strip planets like the Vasari can. They'll simply be like humans sooner or later, where we'll use up all of certain resources and other need to go to other planets to get them. There will still be people on Earth, they'll just become dependent on other worlds to supply those depleted resources.

I thought it brought up some interesting questions as the advent have little knowledge of trade it would seem or were not dependent on it hence why they have the worst economy in game

Somewhere in all the lore/postings it's made clear that TEC drove them into deeper space and somehow had a hand in their troubles.

The TEC basically thought they were all perverts and exiled them permanently. Or maybe the TEC is a patriarchy, and hence they hate the matriarchal structure of the Advent.

They are space hippies.  They got evicted, put homeless, started "Occupy Milky Way", didn't get much attention so mobilized where the cameras are -TEC Space.  Space hippies don't burn down the home commune, they squat in the nearest and nicest towns' park until their smell drives out everyone out and they declare victory.

The Vasari hate it when the children have to watch the parents fight.
