Program or help for converting Rebellion entity files

I was using the Sins Data Converter 2.01 for modifying the entity files back in Diplomacy, but is there a new program or a way I can convert the Rebellion files from bin to txt? The SDC freezes up when I try to use it on Rebellion files, so I know its not compatible anymore.

 

All I want to do at the moment is add two more ability points to the star bases (yes, I know they don't need em, but this is for my own personal fun). Does anyone know if I could just take the files I modified from Diplomacy and put them in the Rebellion folder, or are those completely incompatible? I'd assume they're pretty similar, but the Vasari Rebel starbase may pose a problem since its able to phase jump now, so Im not sure anymore.

This is what I use.  Just drag those files into the GameInfo folder and click on BinToText.bat.

OR download the latest ref files from my ref file thread

and I am working on a releasable version of the textbin gui to work with rebellion, but am having some issues partly due to having to update the development environment AND teach myself the new variant of the language and debug all the changes.

 Latest version crashes  trying to use your converter for entity files  from rebellion.

Using utilities 1.191 +e+d seems i am missing  ConvertData_Rebellion.X , it has all the diplomacy, original sins and entranchment files but non for rebellion  , wich may be reason i think why it crashes trying to convert.

I hope you get one working soon :) , can't wait for it .

the 1.191+e+d is NOT for rebellion it is only for the earlier sins/entrenchment & diplomacy. there is a beta version in reply 77 of my text bin gui thread that DOES convert rebellion, but as there has been some people that have had issues with it it is still beta.

the issues seem to be mostly with the steam folder being in a different drive to the windows.

and the latest refs are in my ref files thread
