Map scrolling versus Minimap movement

Good Morning

I've been watching some FE Beta play of late, and I came across an irritating/confusing aspect.

It would seem that the map scrolling does not line up correctly with the minimap orientation; appears to be 90 degrees off.

ie: When you scroll up, the minimap window shows your view moving left.

It's disorientating. Is this a changable feature that this particular individual has chosen to set up this way or is it something that needs adjusting?

Thanks

You are right, you can change your own camera direction if you wish (You have to find an option called "Snap back" and turn it off)
Might still be good to, help newer players not be as confused, (Spin the minimap?)

The issue with the map/minimap discrepancy is due to camera orientation.  When your camera moves to face the northwest, for example, your minimap does not reorient to compensate.  Not sure there'd be a good way to fix that without cutting other areas.

Thanks for clearing that up.

Thought that was the case, but wanted to make sure cause it was pretty...odd....to follow a northernly direction, only to see on the minimap that you were in fact moving west.... X|

I don't believe this claim that the issue is the result of a camera rotation is so.  When I have played the game without rotating the camera, the map-to-minimap movement was still off in the first turn or two.  This also occured with the snap-back feature checked.

The standard angle of the camera is different to the standard angle of the minimap is what were saying...
You can turn the camera so the angle matches that of the minimap.
