WB 3.3

This sure is frustrating! Why is it that when I am notified of a registered user upgradefor WB that the confirmation leads me to the 2.2 version? This has occurred time and time again. Is there something that I am missing here, or is it a glitch in the "system". I am interested in the new 3.3 upgrade, how do I go about it with a 2.2 version link?

Please help! Yes I have submitted my e-mail address, and my official serial number. (Geez!)

Thanks

Are you using Component Manager to download the upgrades?

No, no component manager with just the WB software I purchased, that component comes with DesktopX only.

The problem resides with the automated system Stardock is using, is my guess. Nothing on this end to warrant the repeated emailed link to the WB2.2 update after being notified of a WB update.

There is a similar thread in the newsgroups. Are you using the link below the registration info on the email you received.

Initially I am using the link found in the e-mail I received notifying me of the WB 3.3 update. Then I am directed to use the registered users link, which inturn asks for my name, e-mail address, and serial number of the software I purchased. After inputing the required information, I am told that the link for the update will be e-mailed. Well, surprise, surprise, surprise...............I am the lucky recipient of the link to the ever-so-popular WB 2.2 upgrade!!!!! (Needless to say, then and only then do I change me shorts as a result of the pure-T excitement!!!)

I am surprised to see that customer-service is not a cornerstone of Stardock, here I am an "unsatisfied" customer." (?)

Still Seeking Assistance........

I got that email. When I clicked on it I was taken to that same page, and I put in my information. When I got the second email I was perplexed until I saw that the new email had a link very similar to the first only it was for the 3.3. When I clicked on that it didn't take me to the site. It started the download immediatly. I kind of figured that this was a security system.

I have been very impressed with Stardock, and I think you all do awsome work. I hope you don't mind if I make a comment now and then, since I am not a skinner. I am only a skin lover.

I too was confused by my e-mail from Stardock - the header said WB 3.2, and the body text said 3.3. When I e-mailed Stardock, it was returned as "unknown". Curious.

HEH... Chichigirl46... I just now discovered this. If you click on "edit account" on the top of the page you have a whole bunch of options. You can make this page look however you want! And the scrollbars too.......... HEH... I even turned from citizen to just plain ol' me!

Morphing.... I'm using the skin named Starbuck and yes it does color the scrollbars, but wblinds now skins the IE scrollbars and buttons on all sites, but not on any site that has SiteSkins to choose..... I don't see any option under my account to choose an option so that my wblinds can skin my scrollbars.... I hope you understand me Thanks
