Unwanted Shadowy Bar!

How can I get rid of it?

My dock has this dark shadowy bar that stretches across the length of the screen. When I click on a flyout menu docklet, the bar shrinks to just cover the size of the dock. Has any one else seen this and how can I get rid of it?

I'm using ObjectDock Plus on Windows 7 Ultimate, 64-bit. I have two docks active and they each have this problem. The issue persists whether the dock is set to autohide or not. I've tried various dock styles to no avail. I have also adjusted the transparancy but all that does is make the dock graphic disappear -- not the shadowy bar.

Here are photos of the problem:

Do you have the 'reserve edge of screen' option turned on?

No, I don't. I tried turning it on, but the problem persists. I've also tried installing it on another computer and the same issue appears.

Does it happen with any background applied, or only the one pictured?  Do both computers have similar specs, specifically graphics cards?

I've tried various dock styles and they all do it. I've also tried renaming the PNG so that the graphic doesn't even show up, but the shadow remains.

My laptop has an integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000 and my desktop has an ATI Radeon HD 4770.
