Change the location of saved games

Since it's not awesome..

Hi,

The user files are currently saved on C:\ - in AppData.

With more and more people getting SSD's, wouldn't it make sense to be able to move those files? Or at least default them to My Documents like so many other games do, a directory which can be moved within Windows and function on a different drive?

Space is a premium with SSD's, as are the amount of reads and writes being done.

Could you change this for rebellion launch maybe?

The current setup for Trinity is due to Microsoft and not Ironclad/Stardock.

Thankfully, the change to Steam does change Rebellion's file saving to My Documents.

Ah, that's great. :) I just noticed the appdata folder yet living in the beta and assumed. Need to do more investigating. :P

Thanks man!

I think the oldest version of Rebellion had it saved there (despite being steam the whole time), so if you joined the beta early and played it, you may have stuff in both appdata and my documents....

Yes, the first one did.
