The Short Reprieve Has Ended - Robin Gibb has Passed...

The Bee Gees co-founder Robin Gibb has died of Cancer.

Robin Gibb had a very recent reprieve after sinking into a coma with a case of post obstructive pneumonia.... he recovered consciousness, but is now gone.

The Bee Gees were a force majeure during the Disco Era.... sic transit gloria mundi.

Robin Gibb... gone at 62. That's just so young.

Someday we'll beat it. In the meantime, R.I.P. Robin Gibb.

I recall the first time I ever heard the Bee Gees -I was 15 and the song was Massachusetts - and it just filled my every sense with the fantastic lead vocals and harmonies.  Yup, Robin Gibb was the lead singer for that wondrous tune and many, many more classic hits for himself, the Bee Gees.

RIP Robin, you were one of the great singers of all time and your presence on this Earth will be sorely missed. :'(

Back when I was about 6 .... I had a cousin in Sydney.....he lived just up the street from the Gibb brothers.....we 'played' with them....billy carts of all things...

Me being the youngest I seemed always to be the one pushing....not the one riding.

We were ALL just kids then....long before their talent emerged.

RIP, Robin.
