Firewallinstall.exe

I just updated the beta, and noticed when I ran it that it, it ran 'firewallinstall.exe' as part of the setup. Now, I know that Stardock are a very reputable company so its not something I should really be worried about. However, I am extremely curious about this file, and why it is force ran on the first launch.

Running it manually from the command line, it appears to simply be a program which automatically adds itself to the exception list of whatever firewall is running? Is this all that it does?

Personally, I would question the naming of the file, as it immediately seemed very suspicious, more like the game was trying to install its own firewall rather than adding itself to the firewall exception list. Would it perhaps be better to not automatically run the .exe but instead if it detects that there are any connectivity issues, to advise the user to run the .exe to add the program to the firewall.

Just my £0.02, looking forward to playing the Vasari!

Lol is all I can say to that. If you have a problem with names then you obv havent seen many other process names. Ill give you examples of real, legit proccess and there names.

MOM.exe (part of ati control center)

awesomiumprocess.exe (part of a few games out there that always starts with the game Shogun 2 for example)

splwow64.exe (process method for Windows 64 uses to run Windows 32bit processes so it must be something to do with a 32bit process.)

All in all dont worry, It added a exception to your firewall to allow it to connect to ICO.

EDIT: And I would prefer it to add an exception like almost all new games are doing now anyways

I know about those processes. I just got rather worried initially when I started the game the first time and saw that it was running 'Firewall Install'. Something like 'Firewallexception.exe' would be better in my eyes, since firewallinstall implies that it is installing a firewall.

Its of no worry to me now, as I know that the .exe is and what its actually doing. However, I did worry the first time when I saw it running, having no idea what on earth it was doing, or if it was trying to install a firewall onto my system or something, so I simply suggest renaming the file to avoid confusion or worry for users who also spot it.
