Vasari Strategies

As the Vasari are most likely coming out soon, and many modders have already unlocked them for themselves I think it is about time that we start posting up strategies for them (both loyalist and rebels) to see if anyone has a great strategy, mainly focusing on strategies that people have found work really well with the new techs.

So , discuss!

For the Loyalists it will interesting how successful you can use a rather early capital ship centred strategy. With 5 Imperial Labs you can unlock a tech giving you 3.5 income per capital ship, with 6 you have 2 tech levels (1st giving you 1 the 2nd to labs per capital ship for both military and civilian). Or was it 4 and 5 labs?

This frees many logistic slots, opens high end technologies and gives you a nice income which surpasses even the Tech until they reach Pervasive Economy.

Also a good way to destroy your enemy with vasari loyal is, to destroy his planets.
After you destroyed them first, they wil lturn into dead asteroids.
If you destroy them again, they will turn into asteroid belts.
Also: if you destroy them, every building in the gravity well is also destroyed.
Maybe it will be a new strategy - bomb planets, capture, destroy.

Hmm.. I am not entirely sure that any ideas I have or used when I enabled them for a day, will still be valid when they enable them. I have a feeling some abilities will be a bit different or completely different considering they have been working on them for so long(and delayed). But who knows maybe they won't be very different. I liked fully upgrading a star base with the rebels and having it jump from well to well with my titan(as long as it was not one of my own planets, can't have to bases in the same well). It pretty much freed up the rest of my fleet for other purposes, at least early on, the two stomped everything. And this was against AI, I doubt it would work well in multi player.
