Guerrilla warfare with Vasari? How?
I read in several web pages that say the Vasari are guerrilla fighters. That they fight dirty. How?
What do you do as a Vasari player that results in dirty underhanded tactics.

Use Kostura on enemy homeworld, jump in with fleet, use Evacuater egg to eat the planet, drop ton of mines and a starbase and the planet is yours forever:) Also put down stabalizers so you can always defend it
The Antorak Maurader can create a phase node when it hits level 6, allowing you to instantly jump out at the sign of trouble. It also has Distort Gravity, allowing a small raiding escort fleet to move extremely fast through enemy territory and Subversion which effectively disables enemy production at the afflicted gravity well.
Also, take a look at the Subverter/Ruiner combo. Use Subverters+Antoraks to disable the enemy fleet and then use Ruiners to blanket the enemy fleet in mines.
Another example of fighting dirty would be the Kortul which is effectively the omni-counter. It heals itself, drains AM, increases ability cooldowns, nullifies strikecraft, and punishes frigate spam.
Phase Gates themselves are somewhat dirty and allow flanking that the other races can only dream of, not to mention the fact that they spawn units.
etc
They also have a tech that allows them to make a small amount of money from destroying enemy capital ships and structures. Using the Kostura to warp your fleet to the enemy's main logistics hub is just plain dirty (but sooooo much fun
)
And their scouts allow for easy neutral capturing. Other races have to risk expensive colony ships.
Their Vulkoras Devastator is a planetary wrecking ball. Couple it with the evacuator and you can wipe out planets in record time, use the aforementioned phase gates to get to the other side of the map, and dice up a second planet before they can defend their first.
I'm going to tell my Mom that I don't want you coming over anymore...
Backs out of the room slowly...
And think about those new possibilities in Rebellion....
I find this to be a great tech, you can see how much you earn under "Resources from other sources" in the end game statistics.
Not necessarily. The other sources includes lot of weird stuff like when you queued a building and ships to be built but the planet was lost due to bombing. It's a very weird category.
