[0913] Session Report

Bugs:

  • When returning to Main Menu the first time from a running game to start a new game heads of (self created) sovereigns are missing/not visible
  • Could not end a round/press turn: My city was attacked, after I won the battle there was another message that my city is attacked, but nothing happened. The same or another army of the same kind was standing near to my city. I could not continue playing.
  • Arrow range attack of a champion reaches aim from the wrong side/shooting from the left
  • I casted the spell "tremor" on an assassin demon standing near to my city to immobilize it (2 seasons it says...), the next season I killed the demon, but got the message that one of my improvements was destroyed by the demon
  • I killed an army of wildlings, but it died on another field after the battle, so as if it has moved

Comments:

  • Difficulty Levels: Perhaps it would be nice to make "challenging" a little bit more challenging and "hard" a little bit less hard. I know I asked for competition, but "hard" was now a felt "ridiculous", the AI settled everywhere in shortest time and ran around with big armies or one sovereign killing a lot of monsters so I could neither settle nor battle. Perhaps it was a special situation on that map, but spaces for settlement are always rare and I played on standard settings on a medium map. I had "green" areas in two directions (with AI-Cities) and deserts in the other two directions. Or there is missing a difficult-level between these levels, because on "challenging" I attacked the second city of an opponent I met first with three units and some time after this he became my vassal. After this I had double the strength of the next player I met.

  • Wolf Pelts/Spider silk: I get a lot of stuff like spider silks or wolf pelts.I think the sense of this stuff should be to sell it, but I never care for this, the profit is uninteresting. My suggestion would be to make it possible to form special equipment for regular troops out of that stuff (limited to the amount of things you have) similar to a quest I did where someone makes you a coat out of pelts. Or to open special building options, like a fur-trader, or to gain special abilities. This would it make more interesting to collect these things and would give these things a stronger meaning. Or just little more money...For the gameplay this stuff is not really relevant, but I do not walk back to a town to sell pelts for 4 guilders.
