Possible bug

return of the fallen affects star base construction units

So, I was playing as the Advent rebels, & I ordered a constructor to build a star base. I went off to manage some other part of my empire & once I came back the star base was constructed, & the constructor was sitting right next to it. The only thing I can conclude is that return of the fallen (which I had researched to maximum by this point) affects constructor ships when they are 'destoyed' in the process of creating a star base. Not sure if I am the only one who has seen this or not

So I guess the main thing is: Is this a bug, or is it intentional?

Unknown at this point.

was this at your homeworld?

return of the fallen will return ships to you at your homeworld.

I'm pretty sure that would not be intentional.

by 'constructor', I assume you mean the Talion Savior cruiser? just checking...

I'm suspecting the same thing, I kept getting Advent constructor ships popping out to my homeworld's rally even though I couldn't remember when I'd ordered another

Yes, is return of fallen (when one ship is destroyed it have 10% of chance to resurrect) but with the constructor when you select to construc the star base, the return of fallen resurrect it (This takes it as "it was destroyed", but simply disappeared).

I constructed 5 and of these 3 are resurrect. Possible bug... FREE constructor?  o_O

So it would seem....

Constructors are fairly expensive, this could potentially give the Advent rebels an unfair advantage over other factions. Good for them, bad for everyone else.....
