[bug][.912] Right spell, wrong target

While in tactical combat I cast a spell intended for elementals.  However, none of the enemy units were elementals.  I tried several things to cancel the spell; r-clk, <esc>, <Enter>, I had to kill the program. 

Is there a problem when researching Advanced Agriculture?  Once I have researched that tech it still shows up in the tree as though I haven't researched it.  Also, I don't see the effect of the tech.

You can research refined agriculture and its counterparts as many times as you want. The effects stack every time you research. It give you an extra 5 food per grain in every city.
