Older Programs (Legacy)

I recently removed everything related to GameStop and installed Stardock Central along with all of the programs. I had 2 older preograms, (DriveScan and Enhanced File Dialog) and inadvetantly uninstalled them when I removed GameStop.

Is there any way to get them back? Do I have to reinstall Impulse and restore them from that and then uninstall Impulse again? I'm especially concerned about DriveScan since I used it on a regular basis.

Thanks

Michael

All your purchased applications can be found right here -> [Your account]
Legacy applications do not appear in SDC.

Note: Be aware that not all legacy applications 'play well' with activation.
In case one or more should not activate, please contact support@stardock.com. They will provide you with other means of activation.

Hi Snowman.

Thanks. I think I'm going to try reinstalling Impulse to restore at the very least the "Drive Scan". If it presents a problem I post here.

Thanks again for the quick response.

I would strongly advice against using Impulse at this point, at least for installing applications.
Impulse isn't connected to Stardock anymore, thus why SDC has been brought back on the track again.

Directly downloading the legacy applicatons from your account would be your best, and very soon probably only choice.

Drive scan is still a good app but is not updated or supported..  Email support if you have to have it though.

I've switched to SequiaView . . because it's useful and lovely.

I to see every one I mentioned on the site too

as for FX2 that is one I said I DON"T WANT as FX 5 is 100 x better

there is only 2 from the 9 Legacy applications I like THAT SHOW UP and that is only if SKS 5 is it, as it would let you covert MS Styles to .WB

Would Like to see these two in the list on the site.

Enhanced File Dialog

ObjectEdit

I don't think you read it right my post 4

If you don't already know, there's a small tool availabe that converts VS -> WB. Go [HERE] and scroll all the way to the bottom.
There's a link to the MS Style converter.
