In one of my [0.90] games I had one battle which has run at a very slow animation speed. This battle took something like 20 minutes.
This was when attacking an city with a large army [Ythril vs. Tarth]. In my second game this occured not again.
I've had this happen as well. BecMae slow mid game especially oN larger battles.
Have seen this too, had no explanation to it though, If the dev's have some procedure to help post a bug report about this I would be delighted to follow it next time.

I've had it too. It may be a memory leak as saving and restarting the game solved it for me.
Seems like this is still going on in 915
cpu and memory usage are only at about 50% though
edit: well - great
tabbing out to write a bug report during a slowed battle will stop the game.. i mean its just not going anywhere, slowed to a stop now. It isn't reported as not responding by windows or somesuch.
