[bug] 0.91 no sovereign on new game screen

The below image is what I get when starting a new game.

 

 

I reported the same bug for version 0.86  https://forums.elementalgame.com/418401

I have tried deleting the files in the C:/Program Data/Stardock/Elemental-FallenEnchantress/Screens folder, forcing an update from the server but although the update worked (and gave me the nice intro screen with people on horses which I was then missing) it did not fix the above problem.

I then tried a fresh install (previously I had the 0.77 updated to 0.85, 0.86, 0.90 then 0.91) but got the same lack of sovereign image when choosing the sovereign, as above.

I realise that not many people have had this problem but I am not the only one.

If I can provide you with any more information to help track the cause of the problem, whether it is with the game or my system I am more than willing.

Fortunately, at least in 0.86, as far as I can tell this problem did not affect the rest of the game in any way.  Off to find out if this is so in 0.91...

If you could provide your debugg.err file it would help (I want to check out your video card).

Has this been repaired or do we have an idea what is causing it. I get the same thing and I also have this black screen for sovs and heros inside the game.

Apparently not. I started another thread about this subjekt a couple of days ago, not knowing this one here existed.
