cursorxp vs cursorfx

I have been thinking about getting CursorFX.  I came to the forums to see if CursorFX can utilize CursorXP cursors.  I have quite a few CursorXP themes and I was hoping that they played nice with CursorFX.

The reason I am posting here is I've read several posts from people who had bad things to say about CursorFX.  But the posts I read were several years old.  I was hoping to get the opinions of Forum readers on their current take on CursorXP versus CursorFX.

The only reason for all this is I have seen some CFX themes that look pretty cool.  So, if some readers with experience with CursorXP and the current version of CursorFX could post, I would really appreciate it.

CursorXP themes work just fine on the newer CursorFX, which is a great program with no problems. :)

It's been ages since I switched.  If I remember right - and I'm not sure that I do - the CursorXP trails and effects don't work on CursorFX, so if you're madly in love with any of those it could be a downside.  Other than that I just remember thinking that it was quite an improvement. ;)

Over the years we've sold a number of licences for the cursor products to people with vision issues and companies wanting to 'brand' their desktops.  It's a solid app.
