Advent Corvette Bugs

Anyone else seen this

Playing as Advent, I've been building a small fleet of Corvettes to help my capital ship clear out rebel forces.  In the last game I noticed the Corvettes were only using their Beam attack.  They would make one pass with the beams then make a second pass and do nothing.  Has anyone else seen this behavior?  That's basically a 50% reduction to their damage which seriously hurt.

hmm and yet they already are very strong for their cost.  fix the bug, nerf em.  That or buff the crap out of the games flak frigate ship speed.
